MINSTER College in Leominster has collected the Sportsmark Award in recognition of the their sterling work in physical education.
It is the second time that the college has received this award, as they previously earned the accolade in the scheme's inaugural year.
They successfully fulfilled detailed criteria which included providing a minimum of 100 minutes physical education for every pupil each week.
A broad and balanced sporting curriculum also had to be offered to all pupils, regardless of ability or disability, in addition to out-of-school activities and links with local sports organisations.
Now entering its fourth year, the Sport England initiative awarded Bishop's School in Hereford a Sportsmark Gold Distinction last month.
