Colwall'S League match with Hereford City was washed out on Saturday although Colwall had completed their innings scoring 160-9 off 50 overs.
COLWALL 1st XI v HEREFORD CITY
Lincoln Marshall saved Colwall's blushes with a gritty 60 runs after the top order suffered yet another batting collapse.
His crucial 65 partnership with Richard Williams (35no) took Colwall's score into three figures and a late 21 in 20 balls from Simon Cain brought a respectable total of 160.
Richard Flynn claimed three wickets in as many overs for the visitors but both sides' efforts were in vain as rain cancelled out any chance of play after the interval.
Colwall visit Gloucester City tomorrow (Saturday) in the League and then on Sunday Colwall travel to Aston Ingram in their zonal second round Wadworth 6X National Village Knockout tie.
