Hereford is to get its own gay club night from next month.
The Herefordshire Lesbian and Gay Community Forum meets once a month to arrange events such as theatre evenings and dining clubs.
But now they have decided to cater for their burgeoning community with a dedicated night at the Jailhouse club on the third Thursday of every month.
A forum spokesperson told The Hereford Times that it had more than 200 members across the three counties.
"The scene attracts people from all walks of life and all ages - from 18 -70," he said.
The first club evening takes place on Thursday June 15.
