A Bromyard quango has been criticised for not consulting with the town council over important planning decisions.
The development working party meets to discuss proposed building projects in the town.
But concerned councillor David Cave is unhappy with their involvement in the former bowling green site, where a garden of 'peace and tranquillity' is planned.
"They have submitted proposals for this area to Herefordshire Property Services that many of us have not been able to see," he said.
At the annual general meeting of Bromyard and Winslow Town Council it was agreed that two representatives with full voting powers would be added to the development working party.
In future, they will also have to refer to the council on all schemes that affect sites within the parish. But Herefordshire Council still needs to rubber-stamp the changes.
"Hopefully this at least will help to reduce the occasions when we are not consulted upon projects in which we have an interest," added Mr Cave.
