HEREFORD'S ABC Cinema is getting ready for the latest spine-tingler, 'Scream 3', which will be showing for seven days from Friday. This will be shown in the evening slot only and will be preceded by a 'must' for Winnie the Pooh fans, 'Tigger the Movie'.
The Coliseum Film Centre, Brecon, is showing the last screen appearance of the great Oliver Reed plus rising star Russell Crowe in 'Gladiator'. Also showing, except on Sunday, is the spoof sci-fi movie 'Galaxy Quest'. For half-term week, both screens will have matinee showings. One features 'The Tigger Movie', the other the animated Biblical epic 'The Miracle Maker'. The Coliseum Film Centre is closed on Mondays.
The Courtyard Centre for the Arts is showing the Stanley Kubrick classic 'Clockwork Orange', starring Malcolm McDowell from May 29-June 1.
Wyeside Arts Centre in Builth Wells is tonight screening Michael Caine's Oscar-winning performance in 'The Cider House Rules', also starring Tobey Maguire. Younger cinema-goers will enjoy 'Tigger the Movie', showing from May 27 to June 1, while cinephiles in Builth will finally get a chance to see the classic 'Clockwork Orange' from May 26-28. Shakespeare and the film musicals have an unusual, but highly successful, coming--together in the Kenneth Branagh-directed 'Love's Labours Lost', on screen from May 29 to June 1.
Animation rules at Malvern Theatres from Friday with showings of 'The Miracle Maker' and the incredibly popular 'Pokemon: The Movie'.
