Ledbury Karate expert Carl Reeks has returned from the WKO World Championships in Italy a triple World Champion.
Carl, aged 17, belongs to the MSKC, members of the EWSKA and their team that travelled to Italy to compete in the Championships came from all different parts of the country.
Competing in the 16-18 years, 170cm age group, Carl won the Individual Title in the Points Freestyle Fighting (which incorporates Kickboxing), the Individual title in the Traditional Fighting and the Title for the Three-Man Team, joining members from Birmingham and Colchester.
Carl, a 2nd Dan Black Belt, is no stranger to winning titles being previously, three times Junior English Champion, 1995 European Champion, 2nd in the British Open and bronze medalist in the 1999 European Championship where he competed in the adult section.

He trains at Ledbury Leisure Centre on Tuesdays (6.30-8.30pm) and Hereford Leisure Centre on Thursdays.
