BROMYARD is set for one of Herefordshire's best-ever firework displays as a prelude to this year's summer gala.
The colourful spectacle will be set to music from around the world with the climax arriving to a classical British composition.
Munderfield firm Dragonfire are organising the pyrotechnic presentation.
The total cost of the 23-minute show is likely to top £6,000, with half coming from town council funds.
"This will undoubtedly be one of the greatest displays of fireworks this county has ever seen," said gala organiser John Wilkins.
The show will take place on the Hereford Road during the evening of Thursday June 29, the same night as the traditional Donkey Derby.
