Sikh Hunters 2 Wellington 5
WELLINGTON, last season's Division 1 South league and cup champions, finished off their season by clinching runners-up honours to Hereford-shire neighbours Brom-yard Town.
An incident packed first half saw Wellington twice come from behind with goals from Pete Wallace and leading scorer Stuart Gwynne before Wallace bundled the ball home from close range to snatch an interval lead.
A rare headed goal from Mark Cross extended their lead early in the second half and a thumping drive from substitute Kenny Styles wrapped up a convincing victory.
Wellington will be aiming to retain the Division 1 Cup when they take on Ledbury Town at Bromyard tomorrow, kick-off 7.45pm.
