Bromsgrove Rovers 4 Pegasus Juniors 1 (aet)
PEGASUS were knocked out of the Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup by Dr Marten's League side Bromsgrove with a semi-final extra-time defeat for the second successive year.
The city side took first blood when keeper Mark Jones, on loan from Burton Albion, could only hit a weak clearance straight to Mark Davis, who controlled the ball and lobbed Jones.
Rovers responded and pulled level when a huge kick from Jones deceived Terry Green and allowed Sutton to beat Pegasus stopper Kingsley Morris.
In the second half Bromsgrove's ex-Hereford United man Quinton Townsend hit an upright while Jones finger-tipped away a shot from Jon Hill, but the tie was destined for extra time.
Stuart Brown shot Bromsgrove ahead and then Green headed into his own net from a clearance by Mark Bowater, who sealed victory himself with a header from a corner by former Pegasus player Mark Benbow.
