Ledbury Town 2 Leominster Town 2
Leominster fought back to overturn a two goal interval deficit and share the points with Herefordshire neighbours Ledbury in their final Banks's Brewery West Midlands Division 1 South match of the season.
Using the advantage of the slope effectively, Ledbury took the lead on the half-hour from a corner. Five minutes later they extended their lead with a wicked deflection.
After the break it was Leominster's turn to put pressure on the home defence and Jamie Allen's cross from the by-line was forced home by Alex Hunt.
Minutes later they levelled when Ledbury only half cleared a goal-bound shot to midfielder Mike Symonds, who rifled home a fierce drive.
Leominster now hope to stay in the competition for next season and secretary Bill Bloxsome said: "Circumstances have changed for the better and we are hopeful of being able to continue in the Division 1 South next season.
"We will be considering this at our next meeting and I hope to be able to confirm in writing our intentions to the league secretary."
