Ewyas Harold 3 Ross Town 1 (aet)
TEN-MAN Ewyas Harold ensured a league and cup double with an extra-time victory over Ross Town in the final of the HFL Senior Cup at Edgar Sytreet.
Town took the lead after 20 minutes from the penalty spot, but Harold bounced back to force extra time with 25 minutes remaining.
Good work and a cross from Mel Langford allowed Stan Jones to head in, although Harold's joy was tempered when Kevin Harwood was giving his marching orders following an off-the-ball incident.
However, the villagers overcame their numerical handicap in the additional half-hour with goals from Langford and a superb 30-yarder from substitute Gareth Thomas.
