ORGANISERS of the annual Dymock half marathon have changed the race day this year to Sunday morning.
Previously the Spring Bank Holiday weekend event has been run on Monday evening but it will now commence on Sunday at 11am.
The event, organised by the Hereford Couriers, is open to serious runners, determined novices and joggers alike although the course through rolling terrain is best described as 'challenging'.
The course record is held by Dale Rixon of Bridgend AC with a time of 1.5.48 in 1996. Entry forms are available from J Gurney on 01594 543563 or P Davies on 01531 890541 and should be returned by May 26.
Entries on the day at Dymock Cricket Club (the finish point) will be accepted from 9.45-10.45am.
