FIVE teenage girls from Bromyard were given a 'punishment to fit the crime' after they were caught daubing an underpass with graffiti.
The local beat manager spoke to their parents as well as the local council to establish whether criminal charges should be pressed.
All parties agreed, however, that the miscreants should be forced to re-paint the offending walls instead. The work has now been carried out.
