A HEREFORD motorist suffered minor injuries in an accident that killed one of his passengers in Worcestershire last weekend.
John Holmes-Smith, aged 68, was driving his dark blue Rover Sterling through Flyford Flavell on Sunday afternoon when the car left the road and went down an embankment on the A442.
An 80-year-old woman from Leicestershire, who had been travelling in a rear seat, was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital, in Birmingham, with serious head injuries.
She died on Monday morning.
Two other passengers were also injured in the accident, including Mr Holmes-Smith's wife.
