THE RSPCA is offering Hereford pet owners the chance to microchip their furry friends. After the painless procedure is complete the animal's details are registered on a national database - ensuring that if the pet is lost it can easily be re-united with its carer. The operation costs £12.50. Cats can be taken to the RSPCA shop in Commercial Road today. Dogs will be seen at the Belmont Tesco store until Saturday evening.
FUND-raising towards the costs of restoring Dormington Church continues with a barn dance and barbecue at Tarrington Community Centre. There is an open invitation for people, especially families to attend the event on Saturday, May 20. A ceilidh will be provided by Wifeldy.
Proceeds will go towards the £57,000 appeal fund for Dormington Church repairs.
A TABLE-top sale will be held at Bromyard on May 20 in aid of Bredenbury Primary School. Tables can be booked, at a cost of £5 each, from Sue Cross on 01885 410400 or Elaine Hall on 01885 488049. Entry to the hall from 10am to midday will be free.
THE Bredenbury summer fete is on the move.
For the first time, this year's event will take place at Orchard House, Westington Court on Saturday, June 10.
"This is a new venue and is in a lovely situation. There will be plenty of car parking and plenty of shelter if necessary," said an organiser.
