THERE were league and cup doubles aplenty in the Edgar Street finals of the Herefordshire Junior League with Bartestree, Hinton and Lads Club all completing dual honours.
Hinton enjoyed two such triumphs, the first a 4-0 win over Belmont Rangers in the final of the Under-12 Wyvern Flooring Cup thanks to a hat trick from J Lewis and a strike by Mussell.
They then added the Under-13 BOSS Cup with a 2-1 win in the final against Ledbury Swifts, with a double from Breeze enough despite a goal from Fortnam for the Swifts.
However, Bartestree beat Hinton 3-0 in the final of the Under-11 Tony Cole Cup with a brace for Price and a goal for Turner, to add to their league title.
Lads Club completed the quartet of double winners with a 3-0 win against Tupsley Pegasus in the final of the Under-15 Bill Bowkett Cup, thanks to strikes from Greasley and Lawson and an own goal.
Leominster Minors stopped a Hinton hat-trick of cups with a 3-1 win in the final of the Under-14 Dave Howes Cup with three goals for Harris, while Smith netted Hinton's solitary reply.
Goals from Cartwright and Palmer gave the Under-10 Mailes Cup to Wellington with a 2-0 victory in the final against Bromyard Town.
Leominster Minors completed the roll of honour by lifting the Under-9 Windsor Jones Imperial Cup thanks to treble from Aldridge for a 3-0 win in the final over Ledbury Swifts.
And, fittingly, the Minors were awarded the Club of the Year accolade for their achievements.
