HEREFORD and County AC took fourth position in Division 1 south in their first meeting this season of the National Young Athletes League at Yate.
There were victories in A competitions for Adam Crickmore (100m hurdles), Joel Ward Davies (pole vault) and Craig Jones (shot put), plus B wins for Lee Reeks (pole vault), Tom Seaman (long jump), Crickmore (200m), Joe Tilley (shot put).
Individual results, under-13 boys: Craig Barton 3rd 100m A 15.6secs, 3rd long jump A 3.77m pb; Mark Lamonby 2nd 800m A 2mins 41.8secs pb; Dan Morgan 2nd 200m B 31.6secs pb, 2nd 1,500m 5mins 26.8secs; Craig Barton, Mark Lamonby, Lyndon Webb and Dan Morgan 2nd 4x100m relay 1min 4.3secs.
Under-15 boys: Greg Winfield 2nd 100m A 12.6secs, 3rd 200m A 25.9secs pb; Andrew Dale 3rd 1,500m A 5mins 21.7secs; Elliot Phillips 2nd pole vault A 2.20m pb; Lee Reeks 1st pole vault B 1.60m pb.
