TEXAN supermodel Jerry Hall has given her seal of approval to the latest super group to hit Hereford. And having spent much of Mick Jagger's career on his arm, who better to judge the Counterfeit Stones.
This alternative to the real thing is bringing its big-stage production to the Leisure Centre in Holmer Road on May 20. The concert is a 'history lesson' of the stadium rock band's music, although only covering the early stages up to the 1970s, which is good news for those who are indifferent to recent albums.
As well as Jerry Hall, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman and family, friends and colleagues of the Rolling Stones are said to have checked out their 'stand-ins'.
Frontman 'Nick Dagger' admitted the Counterfeits' money did not match that of their celebrity counterparts, but said they did have their 'rock 'n' roll' moments - especially when on the road!
