A LEOMINSTER building expert is jetting out to Vietnam this week to lecture a multi-national audience.

Robert Demaus is attending the International Symposium on the Conservation of Historic Timber Structures.

"There is a huge amount of conservation work going on out there as so many buildings are in poor condition through the country's troubled history," said Mr Demaus.

The director of Demaus Building Diagnostics has undertaken pioneering work in the field and gained national recognition with his study of Christ's tomb in Jerusalem.
