THE Three Counties Show at Malvern in June will again be promoting the best of British. It will be stepping up its efforts to promote British farm produce by developing the popular food fair, sponsored by Advantage West Midlands, the Regional Development Agency, which has identified food and drink as one of the key sectors for development.

According to the event organisers, the Three Counties Agricultural Society, the traditional ranks of livestock farmers are being joined by a new generation of regional food producers keen to take advantage of the shop window that the big farm show provides.

Visitors will be encouraged to sample all kinds of produce, including rare breeds of meat, cheeses and fine wines. Culinary experts in the live cookery theatre will be demonstrating the art of creating dishes, using regional ingredients. The show is adopting a new Thursday, Friday, Saturday format this year and will have a new layout. The show is being held from June 15-17.
