COMMONS PROJECT - The Nature Trust and the Commons Society are looking to set up a development management plan. Anyone with special interest in the Common - graze animals, walk a dog or just walk - please fill in a questionnaire. These can be obtained from Viv Brandeberry 01981 240414 and must be returned by the end of July.
BARBECUE - On Saturday, July 16, at Kilpeck village green 6.30 to 8pm. Traditional games of skittles, pllow fights on a pole, guess the name and putting. There will be a fancy dress competition, adults and children, and a Treasure Hunt around the village. In aid of Kilpeck Hall. £100 was sent to St. Michael's Hospice.
PLAQUE - On Sunday, July 17, at 10am a plaque will be blessed in St. Michael's Church in memory of Connie Brymer who played the organ for many faithful years.
PRIMARY SCHOOL - Teddy Bears Picnic will take place on Tuesday, July 19 at noon followed by the summer concert which starts at 6pm.
OUTDOOR SHOW - The Merry Wives of Windsor is being peformed by the The Rain or Shine Theatre Co in an outdoor performance in the grounds of Dore Abbey, weather permitting. Come and bring a picnic at 6.30pm and enjoy a glass of wine, performance starts at 7.30pm. Tickets £8, £7 concessions, £5 schoolchildren. Contact Bridget Howie 01981 570251.
