CHILDREN from three primary schools will be joining in song with the Garden Opera Company to perform Rossini's Cinderella on Wednesday evening at Kinton Farm, Leintwardine.
Organised by Leintwardine village hall and community centre committee, in conjunction with Ludlow Assembly Rooms, the evening will raise funds for the village's hall refurbishment.
The professional company, which is on tour, encourages children to get involved in opera, and pupils from Leominster Junior, Shobdon Primary and Clun Primary will perform parts of the chorus following an afternoon rehearsal.
One of the organisers, Jo Corfield, said: "This is a very accessible way for children to be introduced to opera, and for their families to enjoy it too.
"The community association and village hall committee have held successful fund-raising events in the past. This time we are going all out."
The opera will be performed in English from 7pm. Tickets are available from Ludlow Assembly Rooms on 01584 878141.
The audience is invited to bring a picnic, chair or rug. An alternative venue has been organised in the event of wet weather.
