ALL the people in this picture once worked at the Victoria Eye Hospital in Hereford.
They referred to it fondly as the "Vicky Eye'' and loved their time there as consultants, doctors and nurses.
Now they care for patients in the ophthalmology unit at the new County Hospital but still have happy memories of their former workplace.
When they heard that the old hospital had been refurbished to provide up-market homes they were keen to take a look at what developers Pontrilas Development had done to the former waiting and treatment rooms and patients' wards.
Agents Brightwells were happy to offer them a block appointment and personalised tour of newly-named Victoria Court and they were well pleased with what they saw.
Also there was a former patient from Ludlow, Jack Andow, who had embroidered a picture of the old hospital. He presented it to the visiting group to hang in their department in the new hospital.
