TWO members of the Spencer family, together with other Hereford Kayak Club paddlers, enjoyed success at the National Canoe Cham-pionships at Nottingham.
Allen Spencer gained gold medals in the world class start K4 in the 1000m and 500m races, while his sister Jenny gained gold in the Olympic racing squad K4 over 500m, silver in the K1 500m and bronze in the K1 1000m.
Sharon Colley achieved gold medals in both her K1 1000m and 500m and also collected bronze as a K4 member with Chester.
Competing in the girls' under-16 category, Hay-ley Reese gained a bronze medal with her partner from Kendal in the 2.5km race.
Another Hereford member, Dave Cianchi gained his first veterans final win, while Beccy Norgate achieved a personal best in the K2.
