Bromyard'S left-arm swing bowler Zahid Saeed was in superb form when he shot out Hagley for a meagre 56 in 26 overs with an eight-wicket haul in the Crusader Worcestershire County League Division 2 at Flaggoners Green.
The Herefordshire club, who are aiming to return to Division 1 at the first attempt, went on to win by eight wickets and maintain second place in the table, 21 points behind leaders Barnards Green. They are 49 points clear of their nearest other promotion rivals Coombs Wood.
Put in to bat, Hagley quickly lost their experienced openers Charles Eades to Zahid and Jame Tinham to Phil Whittenbury with only 11 runs scored.
The Birmingham club never recovered as Zahid finished with 8-20 off 13 overs and Whittenbury 2-30 from 12 overs. Last man Hill denied Zahid a hat-trick, digging out a yorker, but two balls later the Pakistani paceman bowled him.
With 74 overs to score 57, Bromyard were in no hurry and had progressed to 42 off 20 overs before Ashley Bullock was bowled by Jeremy Trinham for 14.
Ashley's brother Matthew was still at the crease with 41, including seven fours, when they reached their target in the 25th over.
