A YOUNG Hereford gymnast has picked up a top title in a championship in Worcester.
Eight-year-old Elizabeth Sheridan is the new West Midlands 8-9-year-old novice champion after producing an excellent performance to see off her rivals.
Elizabeth came first on the bars and in the floor exercise as well as competing well on the beam and vault. Her overall score for some very tidy routines was sufficient to bring the young Harlequins club member a well-deserved first place.
