TIDEWAY Scullers youngsters from Hereford were to the forefront at LLandaff Regatta last weekend when they returned with a 100% performance from the seven events entered.
Using the Welsh venue as a final warm- up for next week's National Championships, Weobley High School pupil Daniel Middleton set himself a difficult task as he rowed up an age group in each of the four sculling events contested.
He won junior 15 singles in both sprint and distance events, and combined with Lennie Lambert in the doubles to repeat the performance.
Younger brother Niklas Middleton, 12, comfortably took the junior 13 singles race, while Lambert won both the junior 14 singles.
Both 14-year-olds leave Hereford today (Thursday) to contest the GB Championships over three days of gruelling 2000m races at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham.
