RYAN GREEN (2): (defender, 20-10-1980, 5'8", 44+1 sub/1) Showed in full last season why he was the youngest player ever to represent Wales with a string of fine displays. A top performer whether defending or lending his skills in attack, Green figured mostly at right-back but showed on occasion that a lack of inches does not prevent him from standing in equally well at the heart of the defence. Began his career with Wolves and has since spent time with Cardiff City, Torquay, Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday. If he plays as well again in the coming season, there should be no reason why he cannot add to his three international caps in the future.
