FORMER Ledbury Rugby Club player Darrell Williams is the new director of rugby at the Midlands West Three (South) club.
Williams will start work on player recruitment and bolstering numbers at training to raise playing standards. He will also forge closer links with the youth teams.
Ledbury-based Williams brings a wealth of experience to the role, as an ex-player and outstanding results as Ledbury's director of junior rugby.
He will be working closely with coach Rob Collins throughout the season to ensure that all senior sides have the opportunity for improvement and development.
Pre-season training is on Tuesday evenings at 7pm. This will be extended to Thursdays from August.
Pre-season friendlies and a club afternoon are also being arranged to ensure Ledbury's season starts on a positive note.
