Eastnor thirds lost to table-toppers Strollers by 78 runs at home in this Flint & Cook Marches League division five match.
Electing to bat, Lerego and Bentley-Taylor gave the visitors a good start, putting on 61 runs in the first 14 overs before Adam McTear took a good catch off Gary Watkins to dismiss the latter. C Crossland (28) and Lerego pushed the total on to 100 before Lerego was lbw to Taylor for a fine hit 54.
J Powell (34) and Crossland took the total on to 150 in 36 overs before both were bowled by Haggar. Nick Haggar (3-18) and John Taylor (5-32) then cleaned up the next six wickets in nine overs for the addition of just 28 runs.
Eastnor's reply again stuttered. Runs came but wickets fell at regular intervals, several of the village side giving away their wicket.
Ralph Tyler (11) played his usual role and a quick fire 18 from Adam McTear saw 46 runs on the board in 14 overs.
Keith Fortey battled on alone in the middle of the order, scoring 21, but the tail fell away. M Powell took 5-31 for the Strollers.
