Kington suffered a disappointment when they were knocked out at the semi-final stage of the National Club Twenty20 regional final which they hosted at the Recreation Ground.
Kington were eliminated by the Warwickshire and Worcestershire champions Droitwich Spa who went on to win the competition with a thrilling eight-run success against South West Manchester.
The beaten finalists had beaten Devon champions Cornwood at the semi-final stage.
Droitwich, who are familiar visitors to Kington as fellow members of the Crusader Worcestershire County League Division 1, will now take part in the national final to be held at Hampshire's county ground, The Rosebowl.
