Concerts, displays and lectures are due to draw thousands of visitors to Gorsley Flower Festival, which runs from Thursday to Monday, August 25-29.

For the 26th year, Gorsley Chapel will be filled with floral displays, depicting scenes from the Bible.

Christian musician Mal Pope will take to the marquee stage on Saturday night and mime artist Steve Murray performs on Friday and Saturday.

Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winner Julian Dowle will speak about his faith and career, while Christian performer Nia will round off the event with an evening of worship on Monday.

Children will be kept entertained with Bible classes, teachings and comedy performances from Dave Godfrey.

Choirs, drama groups and singers will also perform and camping is available in surrounding fields.
