MORE than 100 children attended Bromyard RFC junior section awards evening.
Chairman Farmer Parker spoke of a very successful season in which the club had grown at an alarming pace. In capping a very busy season, the club had successfully competed in the Anglo/Welsh Festival for the first time, reaching one of the semi-finals and winning the fair play award.
Darren Williamson, Ben Russell and Sam Thomas had represented Herefordshire U16s, as had James Tudge and Josh Bateman at U15s level.
President Clive Richards presented awards to all age groups from U7s to U16s and the overall player-of-the-year to U13s Matt Oliver.
