Giant stilt-walking knights and sport-loving wizards were among the characters entertaining children during a fun week at Eastnor Castle.
A gladiator challenge, zip-wire and inflatable assault course also proved popular throughout this week.
Children could even be transformed into their favourite character by skilled face-painters, or shock their parents with a "gory wound".
"It's gone really well," said Eastnor spokesman Sarah Bullock. "The kids have loved it, and lots of them have come over to tell us what a super time they've had."
Sir Dean will make a return visit on Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday, August 28-29 for a Knight's Treasure Hunt. Visitors can follow the magic clues to win gifts and prizes, from 11am to 5pm.
Tickets are £7 for adults, £4 for children and £18 for families. Details on 0870 870 4151 or see www. eastnor castle.com
