MORRISONS supermarket has been officially re-opened in Station Street, Ross-on-Wye, following the completion of major refurbishment work at the former Safeway store.

General manager Richard Russell has headed up operations in the wake of last year's national take-over deal.

Manufacturing, packing and distribution operations are all owned by the company, providing a direct supply chain from farmers and producers to customers.

New on the shelves is a premium range called The Best and healthy eating products under the Eat Smart name.
