A youth wind band from Germany is to perform at St Andrew's Church, Presteigne, on Saturday, September 3.
This lively group of 50 young musicians representing the Upper Rhine area of Germany is conducting a short tour of Wales and Sussex.
Conductor Julian Gibbons, whose parents live in Presteigne, will present a colourful programme of original concert band music and popular arrangements will include Shostakovich's Festive Overture and Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera.
Tickets are available on the door or in advance on 01544 260551. Proceeds will be shared with St Michael's Discoed.
The band will also perform the evening before in Llandrindod with the Knighton Town Silver Band.
