PEGASUS Juniors take a step into the unknown in more ways than one this weekend.

The city side make their debut in the FA Cup after their new ground at Old School Lane was pronounced fit for the competition.

But the ground will have to wait to stage its first tie as Pegasus are away in the first preliminary round, making the long trip to Teversal in Nottinghamshire who beat Shirebrook United in the extra-preliminary round on Saturday.

The winners face a tough trip to Matlock Town in the second preliminary round.

In contrast, Westfields are old hands in the FA Cup and begin their bid for glory by entertaining Southern League Sutton Coldfield Town at allpay.park on Saturday with the winners set to entertain Belper Town or Leek at the next stage.
