HEREFORDSHIRE pole-vaulter Irie Hill is now a double world champion after clinching the 2005 World Masters Championship in San Sebastian, Spain.
Hill is already the reigning World Masters Indoor champion and also holds the European title.
She had to overcome wet conditions to take her latest title but did so comfortably with a vault of 3.70m.
The wet conditions have recently hampered Hill's efforts to obtain a Commonwealth Games place but she still has a few more competitions to go.
