Wellington 2 Evesham United 1
TWO late goals helped Wellington to get their Midland Floodlit Youth League Southern Division campaign off to a winning start.
Matt Hancock and Jason Evans missed good early chances for Wellington who were punished on 32 minutes when the visitors took the lead with a well-worked goal.
Nick Panniers went close with a header before a visiting defender diverted substitute Jo Mohan's cross into his own goal to level the scores. Then, with just two minutes remaining, man-of-the-match Scott Walker pulled a cross back from the bye-line for Louis Catley to fire in the winning goal.
