CHARITY EVENT - On Saturday a huge charity event is being staged for Cancer Research UK at Upton Bishop on the B4221 just up from the M50 junction 3 turn off, towards The Moody Cow.
Last year £3,500 was raised and the aim is to better that total this year. Main attraction is the Mamma-Mia Abba Tribute Band, plus many more acts.
The event starts at 5pm with a clown, magician, bouncy castles, pony rides, kickups competition etc for the kids. Then at 6pm there is a falconry demonstration by Ancient Art Falconry, and at 7pm a live band called Allstars from Newnham.
Entrance is free and it is hoped to raise the money through the auction, raffle, licensed bar and food (pig roasts x 2, hotdogs, burgers, chips and ice cream).
