ANNUAL FETE - Little Dewchurch will be holding what has become to be recognised as the annual fete and soap box derby on and around the village green on Sunday, September 11. The events start at 12 noon and continue until around 5pm. There will be plenty for all the family to enjoy. There will be a bouncy castle to keep the very young occupied whilst mums and dads try their skills at the skittles or on the many other activities. This year there are additional new stalls, including the recently started book club and another setting out the progress made to date by the Parish Plan Steering group. There is to be a farmer's exhibition which will be of interest to many. We welcome back by popular request the Dolloway Dancers. There will be refreshments throughout the day in the village, and nearby there will be a barbecue, bar and ice cream stall. The main event of the day will be the soap box derby. Funds raised from this event is to be shared between four of the local charities. For further information contact 01432 840421.
