FLICKS IN THE STICKS - Following a summer break Flicks in the Sticks returns to the parish hall on Saturday, September 17. Note the changed date and come and support the first screening of the autumn programme, the popular Ladies in Lavender which starts at 7.30pm.
CRICKET CLUB - Bosbury Cricket Club is delighted to be still top of their division in the Marches Cricket League. Their last home game of the season will be on Saturday when they hope to clinch the title. The game starts at 2pm on the school grounds and the players would welcome your support. The Six Village Rounders match has been re-arranged for Sunday at 2pm and will include, entertainment, competitions and stalls. The venue is Hasnett Farm, Canon Frome, and the afternoon is in aid of West Midlands Air Ambulance, an important charity for our rural community.
WOMEN'S INSTITUTE - Bosbury WI meet at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall on Thursday, September 8. Janet Rowlands will describe Roses and Castles and Life on the Waterways.
CHURCH - The Book of Remembrance at Bosbury Church records the names of the departed whose families wish them to be remembered. The book is always on display in the church, open at the current anniversary dates. The book will be sent away at the beginning of October for further names to be inscribed. If anyone has a family member, who had close Bosbury connections and who they wish to be remembered in this way, contact Robert Hood-Wright on 01531 640234.
