GRAYS Athletic did not leave Edgar Street with just the three points from Saturday's Nationwide Conference clash.
The United board of directors also presented their counterparts from the Essex club with an engraved bronze Hereford bull to mark the first ever clash between the two sides.
Grays were founded in 1890 but their greatest success has come recently after a 115-year wait to reach the top of non-league football.
Last season, Grays cruised through the Conference South in its first season, hammering in 118 goals in the process.
And not content with that, Grays also completed a double by beating Hucknall in the final of the FA Trophy at Villa Park.
