LUCTONIANS won the toss and decided to bat first in this Worcestershire County League division one derby.

They scored 187 for the loss of nine wickets with several batsman looking established but none making a high score. J Platford top-scored with 29 runs, with further runs from G Powell (25), D Platford (24) and W Hicks with 22no.
For Eastnor, top bowlers were Shahid with five wickets and Jim Sandford with three wickets. Steve Emery took three good catches.
Eastnor reached their target in the 41st over for the loss of six wickets. Adeel was back to form with a good 74 runs, along with further runs from Arshad (38), Steve Emery (26) and Josh Emery, seeing Eastnor to victory with 12no.
ON Bank Holiday Monday, Eastnor visited Astwood Bank in the league and suffered a losing draw on 206-8.
The home side batted first and totalled 208-6 helped by eighth batsman A Alexander, with 63no.
Eastnor made a good start through openers Adeel (30) and Jabran (86). Steve Emery contributed 33 but Eastnor fell three runs short with two wickets in hand.
