students at Queen Elizabeth High School are celebrating after collecting their GCSE results. In a rise on last year, 45 per cent of pupils gained five or more A* to C grades. Twelve per cent of pupils achieved four or more A* to A grades. Top performers were Vicki James, with nine A* and an A, and head girl Jess Wright, with two A* and eight A grades.
