BMX riders in Bromyard can practice their skills in safety, thanks to an overhaul of their track.
The track, on a section of the town's playing fields, was deteriorating and users had attempted to build their own.
New jumps and rails have now been created, thanks to the efforts of Bromyard residents, businesses and councillors. Mayor Gill Churchill said the project was completed within two weeks.
"We talked to the kids and came up with plans, then local people helped to build it, providing soil and equipment. It didn't cost the council a penny, it was a real community effort. The kids think it's 'wicked'."
She said special thanks should go to the town clerk's assistant, Liam McKenna, for his efforts.
