Wormelow's hopes of clinching a double success were dashed by Bromyard who romped home by 10 wickets in the Under-11 final to complete their 11th victory in 12 outings in the Herefordshire Youth League.
Wormelow were restricted to just 60-6 from their 20 overs, with only T Parry (21) able to master the attack of George Godsall (2-6), Nick Coleman (1-6), Nick Leighton (1-10), Henry Jones (1-3) and Lee Taylor (1-2).
Godsall continued his impressive all-round form with an unbeaten 30 as, with fine support from seven-year-old Ian Bullock (five not out), he led the town side home in just 12.2 overs.
