HEREFORDSHIRE CBA entertained Wiltshire BA for their annual match at Hereford and achieved a 119-107 victory with each team having three winning rinks.

Vince Ledbury skipped the home team's highest winning rink to a fine victory, outbowling their opponents to win 30-14 and losing only six ends in the process.

Colin Reading's rink were always comfortably ahead and they also lost only six ends in a 24-12 victory.

Senior vice-president Don Pugh's rink had a fine comeback from 8-1 down after five ends to win 13 of the remaining ends and secure a 22-13 win.

But although Jack Gray's rink fought back from 17-9 down at 15 ends to get to 18-16 down, they could not hold their opponents and lost 20-16.

The rink skipped by Roy Warburton led 11-8 after 13 ends but lost six of the remaining ends to go down 21-14.

The final rink, skipped by Keith Price, went 15-5 behind after 13 ends and were unable to make up the difference, losing 27-13.
