GARDENERS - Sutton Gardeners'
Club members were treated to an excellent evening’s entertainment when Elizabeth Banks gave a digital presentation on her garden at Hergest Croft near Kington. The garden has a large collection of rhododendrons and one of the best collection of trees and shrubs, many rare, in the country. Mrs Banks is an internationally renowned landscape architect and a member of the RHS council. With superb photographs she explained how it has developed over the past 100 years.
Hergest is open to the public and is well worth a visit at any time of the year.
