Hereford College of Arts is delighted to be showcasing the work of four talented artists in residence, as part of the Artists Access to Art Colleges (AA2A) scheme.
For the last 10 years, the college has been part of this highly successful project, enabling artists and craftspeople to work on their own projects or research within the workshops and studios of the college.
The scheme provides students with a unique opportunity to observe and learn from practising artists who in turn have been able to access the college’s specialist workshops and facilities.
This year, three artists have been working at the college as part of this scheme: Lois Hopwood, filmmaking and painting; Pam Wright, digital imaging; Andy Dixon, illustration and cartoons; and Rebecca Spooner, photography.
The AA2A project for 2010 is currently being celebrated with an exhibition of work from all four artists at Hereford College of Arts and open to the public until May 5. Opening times are Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm.
